This spring Yard Concept partnered with private social club, African Chop House, and the New Museum to celebrate Jamaican artist Nari Ward on the occasion of his solo exhibition We The People. Over 200 cultural movers and shakers joined us for a day party punctuated with traditional foods from Ghana, Jamaica, Senegal, Uganda, Eritrea, and more. The afternoon was punctuated by reggae and Afrobeat music, and a live performance by Jamaican American artist Tara Harrison. The scene was reminiscent of a portal-like escape to a Wankandan dream.
